The Industry Use Case on DevOps Automation using Ansible — Demo by LinuxWorld

On 28th December 2020 Linuxworld India organized an Industry Expert Practical Demo Session on Ansible

It was completely a practical implementation of DevOps Automation using Ansible delivered by Sreejith Anujan(The Principal Instructor at Red Hat) and Arun Eapen (Director, APAC Service Delivery, GLS RedHat Asia Pacific).

In this session, we learned about the Real Use- Cases of Ansible in Industry and also about Ansible Tower (formerly ‘AWX'). It is a web-based console that makes Ansible even easier to use.

It allows role-based access, even allowing the sharing of SSH credentials without someone being able to transfer those credentials. Inventory can be graphically managed or synced with a wide variety of cloud sources. It logs all of your jobs, integrates well with LDAP, and has an amazing browsable REST API. Command-line tools are available for easy integration with Jenkins as well.
